Do Dimmers Produce Dirty Electricity when Turned Off?

Hello, I would like to ask some questions.

1. Do dimmer switches produce dirty electricity when the lights are turned off? If not, after turning off the dimmer switches, when will the dirty electricity produced from the dimmer disappear?

2. What if the lights are on but undimmed?

3. Can we simply replace the dimmer switches with regular switches, without changing the bulbs?

4. How far from a dimmer switch is typically a safe distance?

How would you rate the customer service you received?

1) Dimmers only produce dirty electricity, microsurge electrical pollution, or emi (same thing different names) when they are turned on.  The emi goes away right away when the switch is turned off.

2) By "on" I think you  mean in the fully-bright setting on the dimmer switch.  It is still producing a great amount of EMI.

3) Yes you can absolutely!

4) There is no "safe" distance because the EMI is also placed back onto the wiring of the home.  So those signals go everywhere throughout the home.
