MOCA adapters for ethernet over coaxial cable?

A local tech installer is suggesting that due to the complexity of my home's layout, we do a combination installation of hardwired ethernet where feasible, and then employing the use of MOCA adapters in more challenging areas that transform existing shielded coaxial cable into ethernet.  Is this safe from an EMF perspective?  Certainly safer than WiFi, I'm gathering...

Yes, we often use MOCA adapters when running Ethernet is too difficult or costly.  It is better than wireless.  I still would prefer shielded Ethernet, of course.
