Need settings for ECO router ASUS RT-AC68U - Beacon and TX power?
I purchased your ECO router and like it. Kids are complaining that our settings are too slow, and now my garage door won't stay connected.
Can you send me a list of the best settings to use? We have 3000 sf house with 5 people which means about 15 devices - laptops, tvs, ipads, and phones.
Currently I have the 2.4 band set at 69mW w beacon at 300, and the 5.0 band at 59mW w beacon at 250
before today I think I think I had the beacons at 500 and 1000 and then I change them ot see if I can get it faster but not sure which direction to change them.
The speeds I am getting are 2.4: download 70, upload 22 and 5.0: download 170, upload 114 --- these are after I made changes today and I cannot really tell if it got better or not. None of the kids are here right now to say anything.
If you can just send me a list of all the stnd settings you recommend I will try that.

The TX Power will directly affect the range of the router. The Beacon Interval will directly reflect the speed. Remember - when we are sending a wireless signal, it is going to be significantly less speed REGARDLESS, Whether it is walls or obstructions in the home or floors and levels. When using a router that is intended for low radiation - It is hard to expect High Speed on Wireless signals - When the Safest, Fastest, Most Consistent internet connection will always be a wired ethernet connection.

Raising the TX Power increases range / AND / emissions.
Lowering the Beacon Interval will Increase the speed / AND / emissions.
