I followed these instructions and seemed to have made things worse now. Give me a ring back after speaking with Shaun. Thank you Seth...

The CM1150V looks to be a modem/router combo, based on the fact it has 4 Ethernet ports on the back.  I also saw an article that shows it has an admin interface: https://www.192-168-1-1-ip.co/router/netgear/cm1150v/19693/#:~:text=Type%20192.168.,The%20default%20password%20is%20password.

There is also information on your modem available here: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/CM1150V/CM1150V_QSG_EN.pdf

It should be plug-and-play.  Sometimes we will turn the router on first, and allow the modem to stay off for a whole minute.  Then turn the modem on.  This is a reverse power cycle.

To reset your JRS settings so that it is factory-default as you received it, please hold down the WPS button and turn the power off on the router.  Wait 15 seconds while still holding down the WPS button.  Keep holding the WPS button and then turn the router back on.  Keep it pressed 30 seconds until the power light starts flashing rapidly, then you can release it.

Normally the router is plug-and-play and should work right out of the box with any cable or DSL modem.  We haven't had this issue arise yet.  We could troubleshoot on the phone and of course not charge if it's an issue with the router.  We will replace the router if there is an issue with it at zero cost to you.  In the past with our old router, issues were so often caused by the ISP or the ISP's equipment and the customer's computer equipment.

Have you contacted your Internet provider at all?  Is it their modem or do you own the modem?

Can you please call me. I have tried these steps and now I can’t even access the internet with my laptop plugged directly into the modem. I need some help ASAP.

I am still attempting to get my JRS Router to work within my home network.  Can I please have an extension to the 30 day return policy while I work on installing it ?

MB,

We do offer paid support for these devices. Please let me know how we can assist you, as far as return period extensions I will have to ask Shaun. I do not make those decisions. Thanks for your patience!

Hello...

I shipped my router back to you guys from a refund.  According to USPS, the package was received on July 3rd.  I haven't seen a refund come across on my credit card though.  When do you expect my cc to be refunded?

Thanks for the help...

This money should have already been sent to you. I would check and make sure that the money has not already been refunded at an earlier date. I will double check on my end!
