Change plug style on Shielded Extention Cord

I need a flat plug.  I have not been able to find a shielded extension cord with a flat plug.  Can we replace one end without effecting the quality of protection?  Do I need to purchase a special lesser EMF flat plug if there is such a thing?  I'm clearly not electrically savvy so thank you for your help.
