There is a high-pitched sound that is covering over 50 miles in East Tennessee. Is there anyone that can check it with the spectrum meter for the public?

A good spectrum analyzer might be required for this job.  I am currently not equipped with this.  I have various RF meters, but I don't think they would give us the information we need.  They would not show us the specific frequency.  You would need a spectrum analyzer and to use it in a few different places (a couple places where the sound isn't present, and then one where it is very apparent to you).
