Is it safe to use the blocking fabric on windows if you live on the 4th floor of a large apartment building?
RFs fluctuate between 0.02-1.0 mW/m2 throughout the apartment (which is severe for sleeping areas per Building Biology Inst.), not just near the windows. These are the same readings with my modem circuit breaker off and my phone on airplane mode. I can't tell where the RFs are coming from, but if it's through the walls and the floor, I don't want to trap them in with RF blocking curtains.
Which meter are you using to measure? Have you tried holding it to your chest/abdomen to use your body as a shield to help determine which direction the RF is coming from? Fabric certainly can and is commonly used with windows. There is also window blocking film that we can order for you. But, it may or may not be that the window is the main problem.
