I'm looking into this Belkin adapter. I chatted with Apple support and they said that it automatically prioritizes the ethernet connection over anything else once connected, but I'm guessing we'd still have to go in and disable wifi / cellular in the settings.

Thank you, Jenn! Yes, the best advice is to disable WiFi/mobile data while hooked up to Ethernet. But on my Android the Ethernet does take over - so that is good.
